Since Francis first gathered followers into the Friars, Poor Clares and the Brothers and Sisters of Penance (Seculars), there have been many Franciscans from all branches of the Franciscan Family who have been recognized for their holiness. Some are well known, and some are lesser known, but all followed Christ in the manner of Francis. This Franciscan Calendar will list the saint(s) for each day of the month, and some will have links to their story of life and faith.
